Crazy Good Food: The Jalapeno Tree

Did you know that a jalapeño is technically a fruit? They don’t even grow on trees. But this arboreal fiction is the namesake of one of the best restaurants in our area. For crazy good food: The Jalapeño Tree.
Fresh Ingredients
It’s been more than 25 since the first location of The Jalapeño Tree opened, and from day one they’ve emphasized fresh ingredients to create amazing Mexican food. While rice and beans are part of their menu, they also include delicious Key West veggies, tortilla soup and other optional sides.
American Food
The Jalapeño Tree is a Mexican restaurant with loads of mouth-watering dishes from south of the border that will certainly exceed your expectations. However, they have a number of American items on the menu as well. From burgers to chicken tenders to corn dogs and more – all of these items are offered for both adults and children.
Jarritos
You know that you can get authentic Mexican food made from the freshest ingredients at The Jalapeño Tree, but did you know you can get an authentic Mexican soda, too? In 1950, Francisco Hill created Jarritos, and it became wildly popular. Soon it spread to the U.S. and many other countries throughout the world. We recommend you give one a try on your next visit to The Jalapeño Tree. And of course, Topo Chico is on the menu as well as Tamarind plus a variety of drinks you’ll find in the United States.
