Have you been thinking about going electric? Now you can electrify your towing and hauling jobs with real Ford power with the 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning!

Electric Power

There’s no gasoline necessary to power this potent pickup, as a pair of electric motors generates more than enough energy to meet your daily work duties. The Ford F-150 Lightning can accelerate with ease for a smooth and quiet ride, and the calm performance might surprise your passengers when they realize that the Standard Range model packs 452 horsepower and 775 lb-ft of torque. The Extended Range versions crank out even more horses – 580 horsepower at the push of a pedal. When equipped with the Max Trailer Tow package, the Extended Range Lightning can tow up to 10,000 pounds. Standard Range models can be equipped to haul up to 2,235 pounds in the truck bed.

Confident Performance

If you’re already used to the steady performance of the F-150, you’ll feel right at home in the F-150 Lightning. The ride is smooth and tranquil, even when you encounter worn pavement. The truck’s well-tuned suspension evens out bumps in the road to prevent any unavoidable dips or humps from jostling your cab, and it keeps you and your passengers in a comfortable position as you take twists and turns. If you plan to go off-road, the F-150 Lightning offers skid plates to protect the battery packs, plus a locking rear differential as well as independent front and rear suspension – the first of its kind for an F-150 model.

Tech Tools and Features

The F-150 Lightning comes well stocked with modern tech features for convenience and driver assistance wherever your journey takes you. A crystal-clear 12-inch touchscreen comes standard to display your preferred apps and tools at your fingertips. The F-150 Lightning also debuts with tech like a Wi-Fi hotspot, navigation, and smartphone connectivity for Android and Apple as standard issue. Standard safety tech includes forward automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, and pedestrian detection.
